THIS IS MORE WHAT I HAVE IN MIND


So I've been scanning the range trying to figure out how I can cobble together a Warboss Worthy of Galactic Conquest!
This is what I got so far





My photo editing skills are much worse than my looting skills so when I actually start kitbasing this guy out It will be awesome =D.
Tell me what you think, If you can think of ideas for his back, It'll need metal and enginiy bits to make his Mega Armour go... better paint it red...

I played against someone this past weekend who used a Minotaur body with a ork head. Looked really sharp and mean, probably one of the best I've ever seen conversion wise for a Warboss.

I'd recommend taking something like a Dreadnought or DV Helbrute, adding the Daemon Prince torso, a cool head, and some bitz PM me some pictures when you've started!

That is a deamon prince body with the DeffDread legs, I was just trying to get a sense of scale before i decided to continue and Im deffinetly gonna move forward with this ^^, The minotaur would work great too, whats the size comparison of a mino to deamon prince?

As far as the back goes, maybe the engine piece from the Killa Kan or Deff Dread kit? I know the Kan one at least should be of a size to fit the Demon Prince body, and you get a pretty wide choice of big Orky exhausts to add on.

On his back id have a gretchin attached to the suit with a ton of wires pokin outa his brain all running to the git findas =D

An Ogre body can be another good starting point, Ork heads look great on them.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I still really like the Ghaz model that GW sells.

The ork warboss models are shocking where is our mutli part space marine like commander kit? but in the mean time i have come up with a phew of my own recently. They are very much works in progress as you can see and in need of some serious paint jobs but it may just offer some ideas.

Sadly GW has not made a multipart character kit in many years, now it's all one pose character models, take it or leave it.

Damn, thats beyond impressive. Saved cause DAMN thats a great visual on how to use plasticard.

I remember when the Council of Da Waaagh become known i found this guy and was intending to convert him into "Da Supa Cybork" warboss, since the fluff behind that piece of wargear involves nasty experimentation and alterations so why not fuse an extra head?



However it would require a fair bit of conversion experience, since right now hes clearly a fantasy model. Various ork vehicle bits could be added to give him heavy armor or mega armor, chop off one arm for a PK, make the other hold a bosspole instead of the club.
Only reason i never did it is because i really have no urge to play orks lately. I noticed i almost got my tau completely painted so ive been pushing that.
