Hello Community,

i´m planning on attending a local Maelstrom Tournament where Lord of wars and super heavy vehicles are allowed, but you are only allowed to take one of them, only the ones you have in your current codex so no apocalypse units, and you are not allowed to take a allied detachment or something like that if you actually take a lord of war. So with 5 Eldars also attending the tournament, i´m actually a little bit scared because of the wraithknight. So I was looking trough my necron codex and I actually like the model of the tesseract vault but I don´t know if it is worth it, especially under the circumstances I mentioned above. So my question is: Have you fielded the vault in the past, and if yes what were your experiences? Would you recommend it? And how would you build a normal CAD around it? right now I would take:

Tesseract vault
10 Warriors + Ghost ark
10 Warriors + Ghost ark
3 Tomb Blades with ignores cover, 3+ save and Particle Beamers
3 Tomb Blades with ignores cover, 3+ save and Particle Beamers
6 wraiths with Whip coils

Which are 1422 Points. The Tournament has a 1850 points maximum and i don´t know what else I should take, especially with the HQs. I have every modell except for flayed ones.

If you're going to be facing a lot of Eldar (and therefore, Wraithknights) your best bet will be Deathmarks (to hurt them) and Wraiths (to hold them in place so they can't harass the rest of your army).
Alternatively, if you're running a Canoptek Harvest, Wraiths with Transdimensional Beamers can seriously threaten MCs and GCs, especially if you can attach a Destroyer Lord to their unit so they get some rerolls (turning a 1 into a 6 in this case could mean a massive difference).

As far as the Tess.Vault, with that much D on the opposing side of the table, I wouldn't expect to keep it long. Plus, the fact that the printed the shooting order of operations backwards makes its offensive capabilities extremely unreliable (if it had been roll for power, THEN choose target, it would be much more viable).

Why not use a decurion? You only need a CCB and unit of immortals to field the reclamation legion, then buff those wraiths with spyders and scarabs.
