I... actually don't know. Help?

So by brush it's just drybrushing top to bottom? So a Space Marine that I want to have Eshin Grey as basecoat is shaded with Nuln Oil, then drybrushed top to bottom with Eshin and then Dawnstone, Right?

No, not really.

The whole point of zenithal highlighting is that you only hit certain surfaces to simulate shadows. Drybrushing is completely separate of that, painting a textured surface to catch the raised edges. They don't really have anything to do with each other.

I am the Hammer. I am the right hand of my Emperor. I am the tip of His spear, I am the gauntlet about His fist. I am the woes of daemonkind. I am the Hammer.

I hate to rain on your parade too. They are completely different. Did you really mean to ask about zenithal or did you get a term mixed up? If youre wanting to know about zenithal you should really get an airbrush. If not an airbrush you need LOTS and LOTS of coats and patience (if you want it to look good)

Zenithal highlight literally just means "highlighted from above"... though in the context of miniatures we typically mean the soft highlights you get when you spray downwards on a miniature with an airbrush or spray can.

You can get similar effects with drybrushing.... but it's time consuming if you want it to look good. You have to drybrush many light soft layers and use washes in between to blend them together. Focus on regions where light would fall from above.

The easiest non-airbrush way is to prime black all over, then give it a very light dusting of white from 45 degrees and above, and use that to guide hand highlights. Much glazing will be involved.
