Thanks home_brew,
I love how the metal finger symbol is threaded through the high elf iconography, they're just as metal as their dark kin. There's more in the works coming soon, as I picked up:
-2 dragon kits
NIB
-A unit of shadow warriors/maiden guard (also
NIB)
-2
NIB boxes of the old metal phoenix guard (regular 5 and the command 5),
-4 metal spearmen (circa 5th ed I think?)
-The IOB griffon (assembled)
-A warhammer quest wood elf wardancer
All for a smidge over $100 AUD (it's ~$350 worth of stuff). Gonna on-sell one of the dragons and maybe the shadow warriors but it rounds out everything. Combined with what I've already got it's a complete and dare I say, large-ish army.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Alright, I've been productive outside of university studies (Brace yourself, exams are coming) and managed to complete a unit of 16 spearmen. They're currently unbased at the moment as I'm not sure what theme I want to do with that.
Anyhow, pics:
I'm not the best painter and these photos were taken a bit too close, but they're at least tabletop quality for rank and file. Going to add the aforementioned metal spearmen to these guys for a block of 20. Fighting in 4 ranks never felt so good (from a pre-8th view anyhow).
