Subject: Trolling the Tau with CSM

So my buddy likes to run infantry heavy tau in Devil fish. He runs anti-MEQ all the time with very limited Anti-vehicle (1 riptide that shoots at infantry 90% of the time, 1 broadside, a couple piranhas that jink every turn, stealth suits and one commander).
His strategy:
Bring his front line to mine (yes, assault Tau).
Turn one: Stealth suits and pathfinders infiltrate/scout close to melta range. Riptide waddles up the board. All Devil fish flat out or disembark their troopers. Piranhas get as close as possible.
My strategy in progress is to take as many maulerfiends/helbrutes as possible with my infantry in rhinos with Dirge casters. Position all the rhinos so that any units that need to be charged (stealth suits, Riptide) are within Dirge caster range. Charge in the dinobots and washing machines. Tie up the Anti tank infantry and smash the vehicles.
Does this look like a reasonable plan?

What is their rear armor?
If he takes the Ghostkeel/Stealth Suit formation, they always hit rear armor.

If FW is an option, try a typhon siege engine. Tau hate av14, and it has a pretty awesome gun.

Soul grinders are too expensive for what I need them to do
