The start of my Lion Rampant project set for a start in December with the beginning of the club campaign set on the border region of England and Scotland. Perfect for the Lion Rampant rules.

I've started with the list below in mind (plenty of Fierce Foot for some fireworks on the tabletop!):

Dismounted Men at Arms: (6 including Leader), Ferocious 6pts

Wild Scots: (12) Ferocious/Wild Charge/Counter Charge Foot/Fleet Footed 4pts

Wild Scots: (12) Ferocious/Wild Charge/Counter Charge Foot/Fleet Footed 4pts

Wild Scots: (12) Ferocious/Wild Charge/Counter Charge Foot/Fleet Footed 4pts

Highland Archers: (12) 4pts

Lowland Archers (Bidowers) (6) Hard to Hit/Skirmish/Evade/Fleet Footed 2pts

I've added some straps to the shields and around the torsos of these mini's including buckles as I want them to appear to be supporting their shields whilst wielding their might choppers! Pro Create was my putty of choice. The mail has been painted in as has the fur trim around the Lord's cloak.

More pics (and erm... larger ones! :-[ ) can be seen with a bit of discussion on my La Journee Blog here:

Straps and Buckles Added:

And the unaltered mini's just for the sake of completion:

Cheers,
Darrell.

Sounds like a fun little campaign you guys will have going.

I like the 'stache on the pointing guy. Epic!

Well, I get back from London on Friday so I'll be straight back onto the painting table and giving these a splash of colour

This is a Border Rievers kind of force?

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.
