Hey guys, I'm in the kitbashing mood and want to make some titans (epic scale. I havent gone insane yet!) based off of my current skitarii force. What I need to know is if Skitarii and Titans that share a forgeworld also share a color scheme. Google has given me nothing. Thanks!

I mean, yea skitarii legions have their own titans. I've seen quite a few War Griffons guard armies, so I got interested. I guess Titan Legions may work like Knight Houses in that respect.

The shared scheme fluff dates from 1st edition, when Scutarii (as then known) were just Imperial Guard.

Modern fluff is generally no as far as I know. Ryza and Metalica Skitarii wear orange and white robes (respectively) yet their Titan Legions are black and red (ditto).

Yep! Just saw that on lexicanum. So what should I do with a legion now that I have this freedom? IT'S TOO MUCH RESPONSIBILITY!!!!

Titan Legions are completely separate from the Skitarri Cohorts, especially in terms of colours.

For example, Ryza has the Skitarii legions that are generally coloured in Orange. However, Legio Crucius, The Warmongers, is the Titan Legion of Ryza - their colours are deep sea black with offwhite chevron blazons:

Spoiler:

Metalica has the Bone white Skitarii Cohorts, but the titan legion is Legio Metalica, The Iron Skulls, are a Red and Gold scheme with yellow and black or white and black chevrons.

Alright guys, thanks for the responses! This lets me come up with a new forgeworld name as well, with new fluff!

They do not. A Legion has its own color scheme, a Skitarii Legion uses the Forge World's scheme and is more closely integrated with the FW than the Titans are
