I have a double action gravity fed airbrush and I really enjoy it. When it comes time to swap colors I have been taking it to the sink and giving the cup a full rinse, removing the cap and getting the paint out of there and I usually take out the needle and give it a good going over with cleaner and to check for any residual paint. It's very time consuming and I was just curious if anyone had some tips/ better methods to help speed things up? I suppose I could always get another airbrush

What I do for a colorswap is:

1. Fill the cup with water
2. Use a brush to wisp round
3. Dump the content by tipping the brush over in a cup or something (Repeat this step if really dirty)
4. Fill the cup with water
5. Run the water through the airbrush
6. Put a bit of airbrushcleaner in the cup
7. Run the cleaner through the airbrush
8. Good to go with a new paint

Total time about 40-60 seconds and you don't have to leave the workspace.
