I am using Skitarii as allies to my Guard. I want to use a Battle Maniple. In order to use a maniple, do you have to use all that is listed in the formation? Or can you just use a Dune crawler and 2 squad of Rangers?

Unsure about it.

Thanks
Dan

The Skitarii Maniple detachment (not formation) can be 2 rangers and a dune crawler.

The Skitarii Battle Maniple detachment (the formation) must be 1 of everything in the codex.

One is called the Skitarii Maniple, the other is a formation called the Skitarii Battle Maniple.

For a Battle Maniple, yes. You can however just use a regular Skitarii Maniple detachment which is just 2 troops minimum.

Honestly the only real reason for running a Battle Maniple is if you're running War Convocation.

I was wondering about it. Can the detachment get the special rules of Crux Mechanicus, Datalock and Tireless Advance?

Crux Mechanicus and Tireless Advance, yes. Datalock, no.
