I am thinking of getting an imperial knight crusader to add to my Dark Angels list, is the crusader worth getting? If so is it better with the thermal cannon or battle cannon?

The Crusader is often considered the best Questoris Knight due to the sheer amount of firepower it can put out (yes, it lacks the D, but it's still str10 and it excels far better as a gun platform anyway). Between the Battle Cannon and the Thermal Cannon, it really depends on your core list, whether or not you have any gaps to fill. If you're lacking anti-tank, take the Thermal Cannon. If you want some more anti-MEQ firepower, take the Battle Cannon. Also keep in mind that it is the most expensive Questoris Knight, so make sure you have the points available.

I always prefer the thermal cannon.

If your primary army already packs meltaguns and lascannons then get the rapid battle cannons on the knights.

I have a DA Ravenwing army so plenty of anti infantry and anti-MEQ though I do like the range of the battle cannon.

Remember, you can always magnetise the arms/gun barrels if you're not sure.

Good point, I was just wondering as a whole since I haven't gotten the kit yet, it seems like a great way to add some ranged firepower and draw a lot of attention.
