Hello,
Would you seem it acceptable to proxy a salamander with a centaur carrier ?
Obviously I will make the weapon load out accurate but the centaur is slightly smaller!

Most opponents will not be able to tell the difference and they are roughly the same size. As long as all your centaurs count as salamanders I don't see a problem with it.

Isn't the Centaur significantly smaller than a Salamander?

That's right... But Salamanders are now OOP, and a Centaur has the weapon mounts in the right places... Would you object?

I wouldn't, but I bet there's plenty on here that would. Are any of them in your gaming group, because that's all that matters.

The best bet for a Salamander conversion would be to use a Basilisk or Hydra/Wyvern, I would think. You can convert the weapon into a static artillery piece.
