So I figured we're not just wargaming miniature hobbyists. Some of us also have other collections/hobbies, like cards, board games, video games and such. Since those have boards of their own, I wondered what to do with those of us who collect die cast cars/planes/tanks whatever. Decided to make a thread here since this seems to be the correct board.
Anyways, who collects die cast cars, be it at the 1/18th or 1/24 or 1/38 or other scales? Here's a pic of my 1:24 Ferrari 458 Italia by Bburago. In the background you can see a Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari LaFerrari, Audi R8 and Mercedes S-class from right to left. Will upload more pics if there is interest:

I have a few, they get used as "scatter" terrain for my infinity board these days (urban board with roads/streets). Not really a "collection" though - no one set maker or theme.
I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

If Hot Wheels count in any way I've got a small collection, and am aiming towards collecting every model that appeared in a Hot Wheels movie or video game.
From Maelstrom to my all time favorite Vulture, I've got about 2 dozen, and I pick up 1 or 2 whenever I can.

I've still got an old matchbox racecar transporter (looks like a quasi futuristic rv) - complete with the slide out tray and racecar).
NIB and nowhere near mint condition. A local collector offered me $60 for the racecar, so I sold it to him (just the racecar, all he wanted - it's the harder part to find).
