I'm in the middle of painting and constructing angrath and I'm coming across a problem. When I glue the finish sections together, after the glue dries, the vapors form a white "crust" on the model. How do you stop this from happening and ruining the paint?

Sounds like the superglue is reacting to finger grease or (less likely) moisture. You'll find the incidence of this drops off significantly if you do not handle the model directly - use painting blocks / sticks and if you do have to handle it, degrease / wash your hands or wear gloves.

The second most likely candidate is too much glue - superglue only needs to be used very sparingly. I tend to apply a tiny amount using a cocktail stick, rather than attempting to use whatever nozzle (that invariably gets blocked anyway) that comes on the bottle.

Frosting can also occur by using it in a wet environment, or it being poor quality glue. You should give painted surfaces a good hour or so to dry before supergluing them.

The prime candidate though is grease / oil. If you do an oil wash, properly seal before using superglue near it.

I'm thinking its more the to much superglue, I've had that happen before, and I had a bit to much glue come out of the tube. It doesn't take much for superglue to work.

Something to help out, use only a little, and also try to stay away from the edge, and when you squeeze the pieces together, it will spread out a bit, but hopefully not so much to ooze out, and frost the paint.
