Hello people!

Time for me to start my 40k blog! My name is John and here I will be mainly posting images of my growing 40k army: the 7th Company of the Night Lords Legion!

This first set of images was painted about a year ago and was my first attempt at painting chaos space marines.

Hello good folk! No replies as of yet so we move onto Claw #2, the chainsword peeps! These were painted half a year ago or so.

As you can see, I made small conversions on almost all of them, repositioning sword hands mainly to give them more dramatic poses.

I would like to see some highlights on the weapons though. very dull looking. Could just be the pics.

You're right Icelord, the black parts of the weapons aren't highlighted, need to work on that... Black colour and highlighting is kinda iffy... The metal parts are mostly highlighted, the pics just don't show it.

I recommend eshin grey by Gw for the black highlights. It's what a lot of people use. Looks great

The Chosen of Hellath

"Although most believe that the 7th Company is lead by the Atramentar Lord Cerberus, a darker secret is the truth. Deep beneath the dark planet base of the Company lies a hidden Temple to the Dark Gods. Hellath, the once famed Night Lord swordsman has fallen to Chaos and has been exalted to daemonhood. Though his Atramentar bodyguards rejected him and now follow Cerberus's lead, some marines saw the usefulness of his dark powers. Those few bacame his Chosen soldiers. Imbued with dark powers and mutations, the Chosen of Hellath only emerge from the Temple to spread horror on the enemies of the 7th Company, appearing on the battlefield through dark portals screaming with chaos energy..."

I painted those two a few months ago as well.
Both belong to the Chosen of Hellath cult of my army, thus the mutations. I still need names for those two...
