So i have a neurothrope and play regularly against space marines. The space marines player however says that they auto pass leadership tests becoz of and they shall know no fear, making neurothrope a useless. However I don't believe this is the case so I'd like to clear this up. First post so go easy on me

Re-read what ATSKNF does (it's in the main rulebook). Then check to see if the test the Neurothrope forces is one of those covered by ATSKNF.

SM's get boned by it. the test is not covered by ATSKNF.

ATSKNF is for Fear and Regroup test, the Neurothrope is Leadership test against 3D6. It is no one of the 2 types of tests that ATSKNF protects against.

As the others have said, And They Shall Know No Fear is no protection against a Neurothrope's Spirit Leech.

'And They Shall Know No Fear' says:

"A unit that contains at least one model with this special rule automatically passes Fear and Regroup tests."

While 'Spirit Leech' says:

"That unit must take a Leadership test on 3D6."

Obviously Fear and Regroup tests are both Leadership tests, but not all Leadership tests are Fear or Regroup tests, so Space Marines do not automatically pass every kind of Leadership test.
