So, they finally released this huge MDF building. It is massive. It is heavy. It is... expensive as hell.

It comes in at around $255 US or 231.40 €.

You can't go inside unless you convert it yourself. Shame really as it would help justify the price. It's still a nice set, we use it for demos at shows but for personal use I'd have to have an interior!

I didn't realize there was no interior. I just assumed the buildings were stackable like the wild west ones you see here and there.

Yea, if I couldn't justify the price before, there's no way I'd even attempt to now.

Lot of wide open spaces on that board, why not move the towers in to clutter it up a bit? The gate is pretty, but with the one entrance you sort of have to walk all the way around it, why not a destroyed section here and there to slip through? Suppose you can do whatevs once you buy it, figure most will have the asylum as the centerpiece.

It is pretty amazing.

Although it looks only marginally smaller then my house IRL, which does come complete with an interior....

What size pieces does it break down into? inmygravenimage (among others) is bugging me to buy one of these for our club, but it needs to fit into boxes 405 x 365 x 280mm (16" x 14" x 11").

Hi mate, those boxes should be fine. I don't have access to it atm cause it's in my mates warehouse. The pic above is a 3x3 board which gives some idea of size. The main building is in 3 sections, the lobby being 1 and the 2 side buildings. The tower/pillars on top can be left seperate and they stand up safely on their own. If irc the depth is about 8". The height is approx 12" to the roof so adding a couple of inch for the pointy bit!
