Played 40k years ago and am now starting to play again with friends. Bought first box of Thunder Wolves and have seen Canis as an HQ. Rather than paying out for individual model, would it be possible / frowned upon to buy a second box of Thunder Wolves and convert one to Canis leaving the other two to bulk up my 3 wolf squad?

If anyone has done it can I see a picture?

The only thing that cannis has over generic TWC is twin wolf claws. All other wargear type options are infered and not actually modeled on the figure as near as I can remember.

So really, no problem as long as he is armed correctly I can't imagine anyone saying anything about him.
