So I'm reading through the Sentinels of Terra as I quite fancy Imperial Fists. I'm past the fluff and the showcase pages and I've come to the 'Sentinels of Terra' page.

I can see that the Sentinels of Terra detachment offers some great rules, including 'Close Range Bolter Drill' as well as Centurions as Fast/Elites and Sergeant Garadon. HOWEVER it doesn't say which units I'm to take if I want to use this detachment... all it says is the following:

"A sentinels of terra detachment is chosen using the army list presented in Codex: Space Marines, and uses the Chapter Tactics (Imperial Fists) special rule. It also has a series of supplemental rules... (see above) ..."

So does this mean I can just take whatever I want in a SoT Detachment?

Thanks!

Yes, any Detachment type (Combined Arms, Allied, Gladius etc.) that is available to the SM codex is also available when using Sentinels.
