Let me say something first : Khornes bloodletters are awesome models.

But they grind my nerves. There seem to be no foam made for them, and as such, their swords always end up being curved or even breaking. Gosh, I wish they had made them harder or ticker. As for the bloodcrushers, try putting the champion in any foam. Any. He's just to large. And the Icon bearer ? I bet you the icon hand will fall off at least one time.

There. Just said it. I vented it out.

What's your opinion on the subject.

My friend once asked me to help sort his CSM army in the foam. Never again. All those spiky bits catch on the foam. Honorable mention goes to the Imperial Guardsmen with bayonets, those things always catch on the foam for me

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

I just throw them (and by throw I mean place carefully...) in a shoe box lined with bubble wrap. Haven't had any problems yet. The cannon part on my Skull Cannon isn't glued on either, so that can be placed separately for transport.

This is why they sit in a shoebox at my house.

Fix bayonets they said... It'll be fun they said...

A Protoss colony world

On my Skull Cannon, I put the platform with the crew in the lower position rather than up high behind the gun so that the overall height of the model is not as high. It helps, but the tip of one of their swords still sticks up too high for a 3" Battlefoam pluck tray. My solution: stack the trays in my bag in such a way as that tray is on top with a little bit of space. Never had a problem yet. As for my actual bloodletters, my solution is to not solve the problem; I just stash them wherever they will fit (most of them in a vacant slot in another tray that I also use for my Dark Angels). Once I get them painted I may need to be more careful, though.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

I just put one of these together. I put a pin in the back of the cannon, and a small magnet in the round hole in the bottom of the cannon -- almost looked like it was molded there for that purpose. put a pin in the peg of the platform and made it about an 1 1/2" long, just enough so it would stick all the way through the base of the cannon, but not enough to stick out or be noticed. More than enough of support for plastic models, and easily removed.

Problem solved. gakky kit though. Detail in places tat get covered up, Fiddly bits, and it wasn't until I had it in my hand that I noticed there is a rear wheel! The pics don't convey this at all. Plus the mouth/head don't jibe with the mech/armor parts.

Agreed on shoe box, I mean even painted up they are basic troops and wont get messed up too bad. Foam frustrates me and I gave up on it for my dark elder.
