Hello all, I'm starting a KDK army and would like some input on my list before I commit to painting models.

HQ:
Chaos Lord on Juggy w/ Axe & Sigil
Daemon Prince w/ Wings & Blood Forged Armor

Troops:
2 x 8 Squads of Bloodletters each with a Bloodreaper
1 x 8 Squad of Berzerkers, champ w/ axe (For fluff's sake)
Rhino for the 'Zerkers (My love for you is ticking clock).

Elites:
1 x 5 Possesed (Slaughtercult tax)

Fast Attack: (Gorepack)
2 x 3 Bikers each w/ 2 x melta
2 x 8 Flesh Hounds

Heavy:
Maulerfiend w/ 2 x Magma Cutters
Skull Cannon
Grinder w/ Phlegm

This comes to exactly 1850

Obviously the 'Zerkers are a weakness in this list and maybe the Prince too. The 'Zerkers in the rhino cost almost as much as a land raider but there's just something nice about having those guys in an all Khorne list, y'know?

If I ditched the 'Zerkers I would definitely throw in a Heldrake or another maulerfiend to be a douche (Although I'm not huge on spam and there's already some serious repetition in this list).

Any eperienced KDK players out there have opinions on this list?

The skull cannon on its own isn't a valid option in a blood host detachment. Nor are the two HQs.
It looks like you are running a combined arms detachment and a gorepack, in which case you don't need the possessed

I would absolutely ally in belakor to buddy with a rage thirster or houndstar. He's less useful with msu tho.

My playstyle is aggressive which is why KDK is appealing. I'm not much into shooty armies because they're boring. That said, there needs to be some element of shooting in an army, hence the melta bikers, skull cannon and soul grinder.

well if you are super aggressive you can play this in two ways, one you can play maximum msu in the blood host, and by that i mean 5 man squads for csm and send them to die, same with cultists. then get your blood tithe going and spam bloodletters and bloodthirsters. or ditch the blood host and take 2 formations of the gorepack, go with 10 hounds each with 3 bikers and meltas, then take two juggerlords and 2 cultists squads as a cad and then give one juggerlord the blade of endless bloodshed and the other the bloodthirster axe, then spam daemons

omega, when kdk says 8 chaos marines you cant decrease squad only purchase more marines so you cant have 5 man squads like Vanilla dex. 8 cultists means h can buy more but can not have less 8 blood letters mean you can buy more but not less. you understand?

i mean two formations of fleshhounds with a d-thirster is still pretty viable, it was my dream army until i found iron warriors
