So, a buddy and I are taking part in a local team tourney with a bizarre twist: our armies are considered Battle Brother Allies to each other. Ridesharing, swapping ICs, friendly auras, the whole thing.

so, my question: at 1250 each (2500 for the team), what are some crazy combos people can think of?
The stipulations:
1250 per list
We are battle brothers
Only ONE codex per player. So no funky 11 - faction powerballs.
We have: Orks, Imperial Guard, Sisters of Battle, and Inquisition.
We want a Mad Max flavor, with as much mounted as possible.
Assaulty too. This is a prime time for Trukk rushes.

We've already come up with priests in boyz blobs, painboys in big guard blobs, but let's hear some of the cheese you guys can devise!

Repentia out of a truck would be pretty metal.

PEs chargeing in along side the boys/cans would also be cool.

SoB mech up well

Oh god, Trukks available as dedicated transports for Imperium Armies? O.O

Some serious options:
Repentia in Trukks
Death Cult Assassins/Crusaders in Trukks
Mega Armour Warboss escorting heavy weapons squads (because Slow and Purposeful means you can move and shoot with heavy/salvo weapons)
Ordo Xenos Inquisitor with the Liber Heresius relic scouting up blobs of Ork Boyz or Battlewagons filled with whatever

Some more amusing options:
Ghazzy and Yarrick settling their differences, and teaming up to kick arse
Ork Kommandos paratrooping out of Valkyries

However all those options pale compared to this last one:

So, the one crux is that we can only have the two codexes, and I think that my buddy is pretty solid on his Imperial Guard.

My thought was spam veterans and special weapons stuff. I'll link a tentative list we came up with in my next post.
