Am I the only one who misses Marbo? The other characters we lost didn't really hurt my lists to bad. I still miss the Catachan lists that were competitive. Granted Marbo wasn't a make or brake model, but he gave the army the flair. Now Harker sucks, Straken is horrendously over priced, and hellhounds aren't as effective as they used to be.

Sigh, we've been over this like, a hundred times! He's just hiding/killing his way though the Eye of Terror(or someone else's codex). When the clock strikes 42nd, he'll return.

That's when he'll reappear in Codex: Marbo. Didn't you read the Imperial Scripture?

Sad thing is, I got his model as a christmas present...which was a month or so before he was removed. :(

Anytime you ask yourself "Am I the only one who..." the answer is always no. I miss Marbo, I even have an old ninja model I used as him who hasn't seen use since a tournament I did at the end of the 5th ed IG codex's lifecycle. They really defanged or outright removed a lot of the IG characters in the recent codex, which is disappointing.

My group has an IG-specific houserule. "Marbo is always allowed."

Just use him with the old rules.

I miss Captain Al more, but yeah, I used Marbo from time to time, and do miss him.

GW is saving him for the next Militarum Tempestus codex.

Still the marbo tribute bands by taking vets with demo packs in an allied drop pod. Not the same but hilarious.

His stats are printed in the book with lemon juice.

Just need to hold aflame up the the right page and the text will appear.

The fluff for where he is now is amazing sauce.

According to the revealed ccodex rules for marbo, he was grievously wounded during the battle for Terra when Horus attacked.

To preserve what little life he had left the mechanicum entombed his near dead body into a massive throne like device that could sustain him unitil he could heal himself from the wounds he suffered.

Legend has it that 1000 catchan must die in battle each day to fuel the technology that houses marbo.
