Haven't played my space marines in a while so got to thinking about rifle dread and laz'back msu spam (no bikes - lol i know hehe).

I didn't squadron up any dreads for the time being for flexibility but can do so later.

didn't have the points to give the demi squads anything else above a flamer. although i could go with 4x bolters and bolter/MB on the sarge. thought the flamers would be useful for hordes and swarms as i don't have a lot to deal with that else where in the list.

The 2nd techmarine would join the 1st with his servitor and everyone hops in the storm eagle so i can get hopefully 2 hull points and/or weapons repaired a turn. Should i find the points to get extra armor?

actually have everything but the storm eagle actually, but can proxy a storm raven in a pinch.

Priority for the storm eagle would 1st be anti-air, then anti-armor, then infantry. thought about the hellstrike missiles but the lascannons i felt would be better for anti-air initially. 2x TL S9 plus 2x S8 for anti-air/anti-armor, followed up later on with 2x S5 5" blasts plus 2x S4 3" blasts for anti-infantry, seems pretty good on paper.

Oh well, any thoughts suggestions, advice, tips, C&C , etc are always appreciated.

Lascannon Razorbacks like to be in the back. That completely conflicts with the Flamer's purpose. Give them Lascannons or ML's.

I'm also surprised you aren't using the Relic that allows the Dreads to pass IWND on a 4.

Pretty much all those fixes I named can be done by dropping a single Tactical Squad.

hmmm... the 2 techmarines are going to be riding in the storm eagles belly. which might not be within the 6" range of the ironstone relic to be of benefit to the rifle dreads at the back of the board. the flamers were extra points left over, not the focus of the demi-squad to be built around. its why i was asking if i should just go with bolters for the entire squad and grab a MB for the sarges.

You'll never end up using a Melta Bomb on a Tactical Squad.
