I am planning on scratch building a cockpit for a Imperial Knight for a small Mechanicum force and was curious about the pilot. FW makes a scion pilot but I was thinking the Scions might be specific to the knightly houses? Would a Mechanicum pilot be something different belonging to the Titan legion hierarchy?

I don't see them being much different, apart from iconography and maybe an extra cybernetic enhancement or two.

Okay thanks, I think I will build the cockpit and buy the FW scion for the chair. I just didn't want to buy the scion if they are supposed to look like a tech priest lol....

The mechanicum aligned scion wouldn't look much different than his imperial counterpart. Just maybe an additional cybernetic enhancement

As above. Just slightly more augments than normal, and more Mechanicus heraldry.

This is kinda exciting to me..and I've wondered the same..

I hoped that they'd be different from normal Imperial Knight Scions ..it's the mechanicum after all..

If I were doing it. I'd be trying to get my hands on the Gun Servitors that come with that other Titan interior and have it like the Knight's pilot has been grafted to the machine/ is in the process of becoming the machine like the pilot's interred in the Knight like the Emperor of Man in his Golden Throne.

I'd use Servitor parts and add lfe support systems and all.. you could even do a brain in a jar Machine Spirit type thing.

You guys do realize that all Imperial Knights owe allegiance to the Mechanicum, right?

To quote a fictional character... "Let's make this fun!"

We must all join the Kroot-startes...

Sort of? All of them pay at least lip service, but there are those who just pay them the appropriate lip service and those whom don Mechanicum heraldry and colours and serve them directly.

Terryn vs Raven, for example.
