I decided to try hand painting some Vior'la Tau after our painting liege Duncan Rhodes put out an excellent video tutorial. I'm not set on the base, and I'm thinking of making it a more tropical base (when I figure out how to make one). Next time I will use less of a contrasting highlight for the black. Otherwise, I am really happy how she came out. C&C are always welcome.

I feel like a base will bring something too it, come tall plants to weave in and out of will lend to the stealth theme.

Very nice work, looks a lot like the one in the tutorial. I'm not a Tau player, but I plan to buy one of these puppies just to follow the painting tutorial. I hope mine looks like yours.

Looks pretty good. Other than the base it looks like the stock one were so used to seeing.

I tried to give mine a stealthfield effect but i couldnt get it to look right. Finally gave up and started painting it normally :(

Looks great man, you caught the GW tutorial paint scheme perfectly imo - the Vior'la color scheme is awesome and white Tau minis look really striking on a table. Good job!
