Heya,

Getting myself organised for a 'Competitive Apocalypse' game - three bits of uncertainty to pre-empt:

1. The Shadowsword's volcano cannon is listed as a primary weapon, which means +1d6 and pick the highest for armour penetration, I take it this has no bearing on it as it uses the destroyer rules, that correct?

2. Marauder Bomber's Hellstorm bomb (IA: Aeronautica pgs 17 & 106) and to a lesser extent the regular heavy bomb: using apocalyptic bombing runs which state that you place the template on a point anywhere under where the flyer moved during it's turn and then scatter, does this mean that you can directly target invisible units, i.e. seer council? Unlike the brb (pg 42) which says nominate a model, for Apocalyptic bombing it's nominating a point on the board so the effect of snap shots appears to be cancelled.

3. Where, exactly, does it specify that everything under a template/blast, even on multiple levels of a multi-level ruin, are hit by a template/blast? I know 6th was explicit and had diagrams, but I can't find it in 7th.

Cheers,

M.

1) absolutely no use
2) Yes, you are never targetting the invis unit, so you bypass the requirement to be snap shotting.
3) It is explicit as it states that everything under the blast marker is hit. It gives no exceptions for ruins or any othe rmulti level terrain, so there are no exceptions. Its that simple.
