Subject: Orks: Warbikers versus Nob Bikers. Which to take?

Hi! I am going to be adding some bikers to my WAAAAAGGGHHHHH! and was wondering which was a better choice to focus on for biker lists.
Standard boy bikers or Nob bikers? What would you prefer to use? The Nobs have the appeal to two wounds + painboy survivability + WAAAGH Banner + WS Da lukky Stikk WS for a horde of W6 Nobs and WS7 Warboss.
The Bikers cost way less and as such can put out a much higher volume of dice in both shooting and meele all the while allowing great map presence.
What say you?

The Lucky Stikk and WAAAGH! Banner are explicitly stated not to stack so unfortunately that combo doesn't work. Generally speaking if you want a deathstar, Warbikers are much more cost efficient, especially when you have a Lucky Stikk Warboss and Painboy in it. Without the old Cybork bodies and no price decrease for the nob warbike option, Nob Bikers are outclassed. It also helps that the FW Biker Boss, Zhadsnark, make Warbikers troops and gives the unit skilled rider, giving them an extra +1 to their jink save and allowing them to ignore taking difficult terrain tests when crossing terrain. Plus he gives them scout so there's a reason why warbikers are seen as one of the more competitive choices in the Ork dex.

Warbikers are better overall to take. They're more cost efficient than nob bikers, and they do the same job almost as well as the nobs.

With the loss of invluns, nob bikers got put on the shelf for me. Too expensive, not as good. Their best thing was that they could bring a painboy, but now everything can (for an HQ slot).
Warbikers are cost effective, have decent toughness and armor, and good shooting, but it's important to remember that warbikers are NOT a deathstar by any stretch of the imagination. Orks have nothing that could be remotely be considered a deathstar.
They are, at best, a warboss delivery system. Their shooting is shockingly strong at times, but their melee is weak (a small amount of boyz), and the numbers too few to benefit from mob rule for very long.

Shame on that none stacking bit. I must have missed that somewhere.
Zhadsnark you say eh? Where can I find the rules for this fine gent? I would imagine most people would not have too many issues with me taking him even if he is Forgeworld. From my experience a lot of people seem to let the Ork player get away with a little bit more than usual.

Zhadsnark is a great addition to any Ork Speed Freak list, he makes bikers troops if I remember right. Very fluffy, and just plain cool

Not to mention he has the only Power Klaw that swings at initiative in the Ork army. I4 S10 attacks be scary.

You can find it here.
Look for the Ork Dread Mob update download, it's at the bottom there.
I usually run Zhadsnark, by far my favourite way to run Orks.

Warbikers are very shooty and durable for the points cost while Nob Bikers are primarly there to chop things to bits. Sadly though the amount of dakka and powerful choppy units has made Nob Bikers less effective and the loss of invuln saves and painboyz being a HQ choice has made hard harder to get durability on the unit.

Oh my gosh. That was completely by accident, I had copy pasted that previously to send to a friend on facebook, I must have screwed up linking the forgeworld rules. My bad. Thanks for covering me Frozocone. Big Orky whoops from me!
