For my 1,000th post here I'm happy to announce that I've revamped a lot of the items for sale in my Shapeways shop, GrimDarkBits, to bring them in line with Shapeways' new pricing policy! This doesn't sound exciting, but it makes a huge difference in pricing for some of my models.

A year or two ago Shapeways made changes to their pricing formula which greatly increased the cost of some of my more popular models. My Starfury Fighters suited for Battlefleet Gothic, for instance, jumped to about 5 times their original price! (For those who are curious, they started charging an extra dollar per individual part within a design, and started charging based on machine volume as well as part volume, meaning a model consisting of 36 individual fighter tokens spread out in a nice neat grid cost a bloody fortune).

Anyway, I've finally gotten off my duff and fixed things to bring prices back to sane levels. Just a little sample of what's back on sale:

In the "Models for Games Workshop's Battlefleet Gothic" section of the shop, we have a set of seventeen torpedo markers with varying numbers of torpedoes per base:

Used to be nearly $50, now down to $24.95 (they also come as a set of 20 bases with three torpedoes to a base for $19.15).

And here's a set of fighter-bomber tokens suitable for Battlefleet Gothic. Once almost $60, now back down to $11.95!

Meanwhile, in the slowly expanding section of 6mm models, we have a few newcomers:

A set of three Super-Kannon Wagons

A set of four Fighter-Bombers

And a set of six Heavy Artillery Carriages with Sandbag Emplacements (better pictures coming soon)

So please feel free to poke around and see if there's anything new you like, or anything old you like the price of! Drop me a line if there's anything you'd like to see in the future. And apologies if this should go in N&R, but I'm pretty sure this section is the most appropriate place for this little announcement.
