So the group that I play with always bring hard lists and are prepping for tournaments, so I thought I would bring some cheese

What do you guys think of this list? Can it hang with the armies you see at the top tables at tournaments?

I was concerned with the size of the bike squads. Should I take 3 units of 5 bikes instead?

Actually, I have had lots of success with min 3-man squads. I think you should split the bikes up to have 4x 3 man squads to hide in the backfield/ on the flanks, and 1x 4 bikes for the Farseer to join (Autarch takes his pick of bikes or Spiders to join)

There is very little point in taking 4 man squads. One casualty and they take a ld check. 5 man squad needs two dead for that to happen.

I cannot believe in a God who wants to be praised all the time.

Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it. I'll have to try out both variations of jetbike squad sizes. I'm unsure if the autarch is necessary though. Would cutting him and the spirit stone on the farseer for another farseer be better?

As others mentioned, Windrider squad size is pertinent. Personally I don't fall on either side of 3 or 5, as I think the answer depends on how likely you are to be playing Kill Points. If your meta never does KP, then aim for 3 man and vice versa.

I think an Autarch is almost defined as necessary when you have ~450 points invested in the CD. Think is past his reserve shenanigans he doesn't have much value. If one of your Wind squads was cranked up to 10 man, then a kitted Autarch is handy as he provides Ld 10. Otherwise, I'd bare bones him and use the points else, perhaps the Farseer as suggested.

Cheers.
