Whilst doing some tidying, well mostly just rearranging stuff into slightly less random piles of boxes I found some X-wing ships I purchased but have never played with,

I've come up with a couple of lists for those ships, can anyone with more experience of the ships comment on anything I might have missed. Note these lists are just for fun and to fly ships I've never used

List 1 - Scum Aces

Dace Bonearm, HWK-290, Veteran Instincts, Ion Cannon Turret

Prince Xizor,StarViper, Veteran Instincts, Virago, Sensor Jammer, Inertial Dampeners

Talonbane Cobra, Kihrax Fighter, Predator, Glitterstim

List 2 - Poe and Co

Poe Dameron, T-70 X-Wing,R5-P9, Push the Limit

Jake Farrell A-Wing, A-Wing Test Pilot, Proton Rockets, Push the Limit, Autothrusters, Wired

Prototype Pilot A-Wing, Chardaan Refit

Prototype Pilot ,A-Wing,Chardaan Refit

The second list I've flown A-Wings before, but then Z95 took over 'cheap blocker' duty in most lists, although Jake looks like he could be a fun bag of tricks

I have used everything at least once, but there are still ships i have multiples of, that i never use, i only bought for the Upgrades, mainly the Starviper and Khiraz.

Anyway, im playing newer players at the club, so that has led me to use ships i never use, which has been really fun an refreshing.

Tonight im using a shuttle, and Advanced for the first time in about a year.

Xizor is alright, but he needs some fodder with him to shunt damage away from him. Even if it is just a generic Y-wing (with a bomb...)

I like the second list better. Poe was in both of the lists for the World Championship last weekend.
Xizor does need chumps to soak damage. WIth out those, Guri would be a better fit.

On your second list, both Poe and Jake need Veteran Instincts. Flying a PS 7 and 8 means they're going to get hammered by aces.

I have started using non standard lists when playing against new players. Using ships that are underpowered or just considered bad choices. Yes, I loose sometimes, and win sometimes, but fun no matter what. Currently, this is the list I'm running for kicks and giggles.

Palob Godalhi (HWK-290): Predator, Twin Laser Turret, Shield upgrade, Recon Specialist, Inertial Dampeners

Tansarii Point Veteran (M3-A inteceptor): Opportunist, stealth device, Heavy Scyk, Ion Cannon

Tansarii Point Veteran (M3-A Inteceptor): Opportunist, stealth device, heavy scyk, Heavy Laser Cannon.

Its not that bad, I still have unpainted metal Harlequins...

I bought a spare HWK before Wave 7 after the TLT was preveiwed as the K-Wing list was going to be HWK's and Y-Wings, with Tacts and Stessbot

The un-used Scum is a result of playing the Emon Bombs list for ages

As for the Aces box, I think I got that mostly for the refit cards, then the Z95 came along.

What emon list do you play? I just played a fire spray for the first time in months last week. I'd like to give some of the, a second look

Can't remember the Emon list exactly but it was something like

Emon, Andrasta Title, Prox Mine (x2 or maybe x3), Exp Interface, K4 crew

Syndicate Thug with Ion Cannon and Title

2 x Z95, possibly the Blacksun rather Pirates

It could do with some tweaking regarding the newer bombs as I think both the Cluster and Net could be playable, maybe drop the Z95 to pirates, or replace them with Thugs with more bombs, it wasn't the greatest list
but learning to fly for maximum mad bombing was fun

This, plus use the extra points to grab autothrusters on Poe.
