LÄND needs you, wargamer! :-)

LÄND is a brand new modular game board concept for 28mm miniature wargaming!

As we are still developing LÄND (Crowdfunding 2016), we would very much like to hear from you, the wargamer.

We would like to create the best modular battlefield possible and therefor we have set up a survey. Would you please take a couple of minutes to fill it out? Much appreciated!

The Survey can be found at the bottom of our website:

Our FaceBook Page:

Feel free to ask us questions if you have any!

I love the idea of a modular board with 2x2 sections! And those (renders?) look really nice.

I'd be interested in knowing more about the material and how you plan to manufacture them in quantity, etc.

Please also pay attention to the lessons learned from this campaign for a similar product:

Looking forward to learning more about your concepts!

Subbed to there site but the 1st question on their questionnaire is your birth date which I'm never comfortable giving out willy nilly.

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

@RiTides on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/landgameboards/) you can see pictures of our prototype, which should be really close to what we are thinking of getting made. We're planning on making a preview video as well.

The prototype is made out of 10mm foam board with PVC coatings, directly printed to plate. And quite easily "producable".
LÄND is really flat and quite smooth. We don't work with molds but print directly to plate material. The textures do give the impression of depth, but you can easily add your own terrain on top. We have a connector system to interlock the tiles too.

@bubber the reason we ask your birth date, is because we'd like to know what our target audience is. I thought we put it on "not necessary to fill out" but apparently it wasn't. It is now. ;-) So don't feel troubled about leaving it blank.

1 foot by 1 foot sections please. This would give you the biggest selling points.

While I do play on 6x4 tables, more often then not, games are using 4x4 or 3x3.

Hi str00dles1, we'll look into that, but it makes it instantly more costly to produce. ;-)

Stroodles, I highly prefer 2x2! With 1x1, you have so many more seams - works fine for roads or the like, but for more natural boards it is a real eye sore, imo. And you can still construct a 4x4 out of it, or course, just not a 3x3.
