I have the pre kickstart Nurse, it's a really incredible miniature. I did an unboxing on my blog and I've been doing step by step painting articles on it, almost finished!

Yea, not confident that they will make it either. They didn't have that big a PR campaign. I got a notice through email, but didn't see it mentioned on boards.

Pledged for the PDF, but funds are tight for me and we are entering the holiday season. Peoples funds start turning to gifts for others more than gifts for themselves.

As much as I would like to support them, the silly season is coming up. And Chinese New Year after that - that's a big chunk of change going out as hongbao.

Lovely stuff. Been looking for some larger scale figs to get for a while. These really fit the bill. In for a character box. Really hope they make the target

You're probably right. If not for Kingdom Death, I certainly would've batted several eyes. As it is this Kickstarter only garnered a raised brow.

I'll at least be grabbing The Nurse. Though not much else appeals to me. The Boy looks neat but not sure about The Puppet.

In any case, thanks for posting this and the blog review. Another boutique line on the ol' radar.

I'm a huge fan of KD, but similarly haven't bought any 54mm for $40 from their line, either.

It's not out of this world expensive, but it is certainly on the high end, and too high for my taste. $30 and I'd be really on the fence, but that's a big punch in the wallet. Since you brought up KD, their core game was $100.

Also, Amy's really priced as high as the rest? She doesn't look as complex and is certainly not as large. Kinda' threw me off, there.

Is $40 US normal for 54mm figs? I honestly don't have any experience with that scale. I'd love to pick some of these up, as they're really gorgeous in a gross way, but my money has other priorities during the holidays.

Looking over the figs again ths morning I just had to up my pledge to the 'storybox' pledge. At the minute, the storybox pledge is e90 and so far includes 4 of the 54mm figs. makes it about e23 per fig. Works for me!! I do agree though that 'Amy' shouldnt be as expensive as the other characters though. She looks (amazing but...) less half the size of the others

Yep, the bulk price is nice, and I'd have definitely thrown in for one or two at that, but don't have $100 to blow on fancy non-game minis at the moment.

The KS has received a ten day extension due to the tragic events that took place in Paris, meaning that there are now 18 days of the campaign remaining.

I'm cautiously optimistic that the 15K goal can be achieved.

Aye. I saw that. It's a horrible situation tha led to it. Fair play to KS to making such a gesture. Really hope they make the target ( I want my beautiful figs!!! ) they need to make more publicity about it though. I've spray the word through FB, dakka and my own blog. Fingers crossed.

Sarah has been added to the storybox and thepuppet adn the boy added as add-ons. 8 days....fingers still crossed!

The Storybox pledge has now become a fantastic deal, I'll be very disappointed if the project isn't funded now.

It's good to see that Sarah is going to come with an extra alternate torso too, she looked a little too "exposed" in her current state


Edit: Just upped my pledge to include the puppet & boy, every little helps at this point...

I think you pick which torso you want for Sarah......though I could be wrong.

Lovely sculpts, awesome artwork but personally they look actually boring to paint in the sense that it seems that they have details for the sake of details. I mean there's so much going on that sometimes it looks like a random mass of tiny objects glued together.
