So, after a lot of consideration, no CSM /depressedFace. Nurgle psychic powers are actually pretty brutal. Plus, all 3 dark gods of chaos fit.

I'm confused, how are you taking Spawn in a Daemons CAD?

If you switch them for Plague Drones it could work. Make sure to give them an icon so you can deep strike the GUO.

Edit: oh I think you mean beasts of Nurgle. I'd still make the swap for drones. You need something with a nurgle icon to give a reliable deep strike to your GUO, too risky to drop him in otherwise. The ideal is 2 units of Plaguebearers with icon and instrument so you have a high chance of bringing him in on Turn 2 without scatter.

Ah, ok I think I get it. On a tight budget, so can only afford 3 plague drones...I need to take a break from buying stuff for awhile so final list. 26 outflanking reroll hits rending wounds while opponent focuses on plague drones GUOand DPs. What do you think?

I'm tempted to upgrade drones with the 3+ to wound but I realized they will probably be main target on ground since beast of Nurgle have IWND

Drop the Herald or a DP down a Mastery Level and give it to the GUO, he needs it for 3 chances at Iron Arm and/or Endurance. Also find 10 points for an instrument for the PB. It's important so you have a greater chance for the GUO to come in.

No idea how the beasts or fiends will do, you'll have to report back.

Also you don't need to buy drones, do you have more plaguebearers? If so you could go back to the last list but with 2 to 3 squads of PB with icon and instrument.

I only have 10 plaguebearers. Just ordered the plague drones so might as well try them out this tournament at equilibrium games November 28. Fiends should stay in CC most of game since they will outflank, so probably should be fine against shooting by dropping the exalted and greater reward to try to roll invisible/ shrouded instead of a 1 turn 3++ and a lash at bs6 since it's only at Str 4 anyway. Need to max out on psychic phase to counter invisible enemies or Nurgle powers become useless since they are templates? That AP 2 poison blast is awesome so roll biomancy after I get it/ take all 3 powers of Nurgle for guaranteed all Nurgle powers on princes?

Well outflanking doesn't mean they're going to be in cc. You can't charge the turn you come in and you might come in on the wrong side by chance :(

Drop the instrument on the drones, it only helps a unit in Deep Strike Reserve by allowing them to take another unit into the game if they come in. Since the drones will start on the table it won't help.

So on Turn 2 start by rolling your reserve roll for the plaguebearers. If they come in use their instrument to call in the GUO. Then drop the PB near the drones so they don't scatter, but farther up the board. Then use the PB icon to drop the GUO even further up the board without scatter.

If the PB don't come in you still have the chance for the GUO to come in naturally, then drop him on the drones.

Ok, sounds good, dropped plague bringer and instrument from drones for rot proboscis(3+ poison). I'll update this entry after November 28 to see how it does in the competitive scene.
