Has anyone tried making a Sanguinius model from GW parts? I was thinking using a Celestant-prime (without all the swirly stuff beneath him) but with Great Eagle wings from the LOTR mini. Was also thinking of possibly using Scourger wings but not sure if they'll be big/impressive enough.
I think the Celestant would be bit small for a Primarch, he'd definitely need some extensions and a little bit of bulking out, but it could work if you're a dab hand at Green Stuff and know what you're doing.
But like themanwithnoplan said, you'd have to get in there with the GS. It wouldn't be a simple stick-job.
You'll also want to add the appropriate amount of chapter iconography for a Primarch.
Generally the Sigmarines are a head taller then Space Marines (compensating?) so he should be fine size wise. Even the starter set wing guys might work.
