Hi everyone,

I thought I would show you all my Battlestar Galactica models that I have

Starting off with ships that no one will really know as they are custom !

The Adelphe Class Battlestar (there are two of these known as the "Sister Stars"

This is yet to be classed and named

The Battlestar Heracles

Battlestar Pegasus

And the Infamous Battlestar Galactica

The colonial Fleet

And finally the Cylon fleet ( I have more Basestars but they all look alike ) I am thinking of repainting them a little though

Thanks for looking and as always C&C always welcome !

These look fantastic. What's the scale? How did you build them? Also, we need an Armada style BSG game.

They are about bfg scale, Galactica is roughly the size of a cruiser

These are all from separate miniature people, ravenstar studios and fox miniatures.

And as you have mentioned it I am currently working on a BSG fleet combat game

Looks good! What type of rules are you going to use with them? Abstracted, crunchy, a mix, etc? I picked up a bunch of the old titanium battlestars to use in various games but never got around to repainting them. It's good to see some BSG love on dakka though!

Since I'm working on the rules with Wolf, I can say that they're D10-based and while there is detail to them, nothing so far is overly complex. Most actions are resolved with a single opposed D10+modifier roll, and there's not a huge deal of bookkeeping required. Not sure I can share much more than that at this stage, but I can say that I think they're coming along rather nicely, and should be a very fun ruleset when it's done. Both fighter squadron and capital ship combat are part of the same set of mechanics, so it should play rather smoothly even with a range of ship types on the tabletop.

At a guess, I'd say we're looking at early next year for the first 'complete' version, but obviously Wolf has the final say on that so don't quote me on it!

Wow, that is sweet, a question though, why not multi bases for fighters?

On parle toujours mal quand on n'a rien à dire.

Paradigm is about right early next year to middle would be a fair estimate for sure !

And to answer your question about multi bases for fighters ? Because I'm cheap ahaha I get more out of them with a single fighter to a base. However it is on my to do list to slowly move them multi bases as they will look flippin awesome
