Hello internet!

I just managed to get my hands on the Contemptor from the new Horus Heresy game.
It's possible loadouts (without buying any separate parta, which is of course possible) are Blood Talon & Multi-melta or Blood Talon & (Kheres) Assault Cannon.
I already own a single Contemptor with dual Blood Talons.

Is there any use for these on a BA list, considering that a Furioso is about 50 points cheaper and only loses Fleet & 5++/6++ save?

Is a Furioso also AV13? If not, then there's that.

Furioso is AV 13/12/10 as well.

Depends what you want to do with it. I'd probably only run the Contemptor with Kheres, and they can be deployed less aggressively than Furioso's need to be.

But the frag cannon is so good. It's one of the few meta-relevant weapons we have.

Just looking at IA 2 version 2 and it would seem that BA can't take a normal contemptor with double assault cannons. Has it been FAQ'd?
The only real advantage I can see for the contemptor is the ability to take 2 meltaguns (which you pay for obviously).
Am I missing something here?

Would a Fragioso Contemptor be worth a shot to combine the aggressive strike with 5++ for survavibility?
