Big question from an ork player.

I bring a 20 boy unit. Lose 2 to shooting Down to 18.. Not yet 25%

Next turn i lose 1 to shooting then another 3 in assault. Do i calculate my leadership with 17- 4 or 20- 4? Meaning do i use the original units size as the basis for leadership tests.

I an confused.

Also a bonus question if a battlewagon moves 12" can passengers inside open topped shoot at normal ballistic skill and how does the gun get affected

Thanks dakka.

First:
3/20 and 3/17 ld test at end of any Phase.
Second: after moving 6" you must snapshot with passengers

Use the number of models you had at the start of the PHASE, so in all the examples you gave you wouldnt have to test.

if i have 20 guys and loose 5 in the movement phase I'd take a Ld test.
If I then lost 4 guys in the psychic phase I'd take another.
If I then lost 2 in the shooting phase I wouldnt as 2 out of 11 is less than 25%

As others have said, tests as a result of casualties in any phase other than the Assault phase are from the current or starting number of models that phase.

Negative modifiers for loading combat are the number of Wounds the combat was lost by, not the number of models removed.

Passengers in a Transport moving at Cruising Speed may only fire Snap Shots.

Ok, why does it say "Units original threshold" or something along those lines. So this only pertains for regrouping? Like if I start with 10 guys, then lose 3. Ok I pass my first leadership, next turn I lose 5 guys. I fail that leadership, they only regroup on a double 1 at this point? Cause its less than 25% of the unit from when they started the game.
