So, in theory this can literally teleport entire army up to at least mid-field and not scatter between the banners and instruments allow another unit to come in within 6" if it also came in from reserve. So with 3 squads of plague drones that's potentially 3 units of plague bearers coming in from reserve, so using 2 units of plague bearers and one unit of plague drones, I think that is a minimal 24" jump if I put great unclean one in reserve?
After first unit of plague drones with icon teleports 1st unit from reserve, second unit comes in 6" from the first unit from reserve, and if reserve roll for the GUO is made, that's 12" + 2d6" for jet pack cavalry turn 1, then if reserve roll is made, that is +12" for the chain researc from instrument, then GUO comes in 6" from second unit that was summoned without a reserve roll so minimal of 25" summoning for the big boss (GUO). So just a theory as I have to still build this army.

Edit: 12+2(drones) + 6 squad one+6 squad two + 6 actual deep strike= 32" minimal, 42" maximum depending on jet pack roll of plague drones....whoa so if I get very lucky on turn 2, that is line breaker and guaranteed to assault something turn 3. Against flyers, all I can do is try to cover the entire board.

It is tempting to drop a daemon Prince for 3 Lvl 2 Nurgle heralds to hide in squads and nuke enemies with ap 3 flamers and possibly a 12" large poisoned ap 2 blast. Plague swords wound everything on 4+ glance vehicles on 6+. So, possibly entire army can be in enemies face turn 2? Heralds have 2/3 a chance of rolling 12" large blast since Nurgle has 3 powers, Flamer is free. This is very fluffy and pretty tempting to build too.

Edit: technically in addition to the GUO, I can also hold my 2 DPs in reserve instead of flying in/ starting in my deployment zone, meaning that if the plague drones aren't killed my whole army is probably in your face turn 2

I would not keep the DP's off the board, there's still no guarantee you will make 2 or 3 resevere rolls. Leave less to chance, they're pretty beefy as long as you keep them back a bit so anything that's S10 or ignores cover (or both) won't hit you. I might be smart to replace one of the princes with Be'lakor who is much less likely to be insta-gibbed, and also comes standard with S7 Armourbane to help blow gak up.

I do like the idea of 3 heralds, but I think DP's work best in pairs. And if you throw in Be'lakor you'll lose the HQ slot anyways.
