How many points is considered at "standard game" in Armada? The free rulebook says that 300 is the maximum but from what I have read online the World's was held at 400. Are they going to amend the rules to 400, or is 300 still a valid points limit?

When Wave 2 is in stores, which should this week, the points limit will be 400.

Yes, but will that be the official standard for every game, or will you still be able to play with 300 points?

Like most point-based games you can still play at a non-standard point level if you want. The game may be balanced around 400 point games, but if you want to play at 300 points all you have to do is say "let's play a 300 point game".

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

This.

The tournament standard will be 400 points. Outside of competitive play you're free to play what you would like, whether it's more or less points.

I see. 400 points is just the tournament standard for games, similar to 1850 on 40k. Thanks for clarifying this for me.
