So you've got 3 ~300+ point monsters. They swoop around and throw magic out of the sky, but should they really?
If you're in the air can't one skip all the expensive rewards and armour as they only get hit on 6?

Isn't it better to put the kitted out monsters on the ground (gliding mode) and use the wings to jink and move further and over cover then assault with them?

For reference, I run a mono Tzeentch with LoC (ML3, rewards), 2 daemon princes (ML3, armour, wings, greater reward), 3 ML3 heralds and 22 pink horrors.

It depends on what you're trying to do with your princes.

If they stay in the air all game with no gifts, what are they actually providing? They're durable, but their only effect on the game is proving 3 mastery levels (which you can get for a third of the price from Tzeralds). Flickering Fire is a liability as often as it is a boon, and its the only witchfire you're guaranteed to get.
The beauty of the psychic daemon list in all its variations is its flexibility: if you take the gifts then you at least have the option of going full combat monster.

If you take Belakor (or otherwise roll up shrouding), you can get 2+ rerollable jink saves for your Tzeentch princes while on the ground which is better than getting ht on 6's 99% of the time anyway.

I find the only member I usually still have flying come turn 3 is Be'lakor he's there for that last turn vicious assault

There's just loads of stuff in the game that ignores cover. So that jink isn't worth all that much. So it's situational.
