Hi all, this is my first post on the forum, so I thought I'd show something I built last year.

I was inspired by one of the illustrations in Rogue Trader (specifically Logans world) to build a Slave Walker.

So I went from this;

To this in about a month;

What do you guys think?

That's captured the Rogue Trader style nicely, are the legs from a Destroid?

There’s a difference between having a hobby and being a narcissist.

They certainly are

I've got a tonne of photos of the build process on my blog, showing the donor kit I used.

cheers

That is great. Are you planning on doing a slaves army to go with it?

You say that I am crazy. I say that you are right!

A slave army hey? Now that would be a fun project, but I think it'd take quite a bit of work. Not sure where'd you'd start to be honest? But It'd make a great game though!

At the moment I'm working on an RT Siege Dreadnought, then I've got a Hovertank to finish off, then some terrain and then a plague cart. Pretty busy on the hobby front

Fantastic, I love those old illustrations and you've brought them to life perfectly.

Empire Flagellents would be a great place to start with slaves/prisoners, they even have a set of stocks on the sprue.
