I commented in another thread that I believe evil can be defined as acting selfishly to varying degrees in one's own self interest at the expense of others. Virtue on the other hand, is the opposite, meaning someone is willing to help others in varying degrees with some measure of sacrifice.

The scale for both can be near negligible all the way up to giving or taking everything up to someone's life.

I know it seems overly simplistic, but for me, that's what it boils down to.

So virtue would be true altruism? Or beyond that?

Pants. Pants are the true face of evil. Also mushrooms.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

This guy knows the way of it. Now hats. Hats are real virtue. They sit on your head protecting your fabulous hair from the elements, and they don't ask for much

Given that I like words, evil is the opposite of good, and virtue is a state of being good Tautology!

I pretty much agree with this on an overall macro point of view.

There is much truth here. Skirts are the way to go.
