Sorry if this is a little off topic, but this seemed the most appropriate part of the forum to ask. Consider this question to fall under the photography category
I want to make this image, or something similar that fits the specifications my signature, with a short title and description of my P&M blog, both of which would be hyperlinked the blog itself. Problem is, I have little to no idea how to go about doing it. It was difficult enough for me to get the sig I have now going, and that of course will be removed to allow for my new sig, provided I/we can get it working. Thanks a million in advance to anyone able to help me. I'd be forever in your debt

Which softwares, if any, do you have at your disposal?
To begin with, you're going to need to reduce it in size to a smaller height. Signatures cut off at a certain dimension on Dakka.

Yeah, i'll need to scale it down somehow. It needs to be alot smaller for most of the pic to show with 150px in height. No software I have can really help with that, though my brother has photoshop and the adobe suite and all that so perhaps he can help with that aspect.

Eh, I'm around for a bit, what would you like it to say, whereabouts on the picture, and what colour writing?

Oh man you're a legend! And nah, don't stress about all that, I was just planning to type out text underneath the photo and have that also function as a hyperlink. I think the image itself is too cluttered to allow for any text on it that would look presentable unless it had a white watermark at like 50% opacity over it or something.

I get i've replied mighty late here from your offer, but I greatly appreciate it. The only things I suppose i really need doing is a scaling down of the image and vertical cropping to 150px in height, and hopefully the scaling will allow a good amount of the pic (prefereably those HQ guys at the front primarily) to show through, and then I just need to learn the hyperlinking details and that I suppose.

No dramas at all mate. My only suggestion is to save the image and re-upload it yourself, in the instance that I clean out my photobucket and it gets deleted.

If anyone else is reading this thread and looking for something, I'm more than happy to muck around with it.
