Charging Dragon Prince

Been looking to try a list, but want some feedback. I don't own a collosal otherwise I would use that.
Strakhov -6
Spriggan 10/4
Devastator 9/13
Sylys 2/15
Iron Fang Pikemen W/ UA 10/25
Great Bears 5/30
Iron Fang Kovnik 2/32
Greylord Ternion 4/36
Koldun Lord 2/38
Winterguard Mortar 3/41
Widowmakers 4/45
Fenris 5/50
I was thinking of when I run this, if I can keep the Widowmakers in Concealment or Cover for Camouflage, than I won't cast Occultation on them. I will if I can't to keep them moving and shooting.
If I go first Turn 1 run the Pikemen, cast Occultation on them beforehand if the Widowmakers are in Cover or Concealment. Move the Greylord Ternion and cloud effect them to block LOS behind while the Great Bears run behind them. Keeping the Pikemen in three man groups on the way up, to Shield March next turn for feat setup, and take advantage of clouds. Cast Sentry on Mortar and run Turn 1.
Use the Koldun Lord to Power Boost the Devastator to Run. Cast Superiority is Spriggan and allocate one Focus to run it.
Run Fenris down flank if it is open.
Feat turn, Sylys upkeep Superiority, allocate 3 to Spriggan, cast Overrun for extra Spriggan move, Mortar drop bombs on faces, Strakhov pop feat, charge if I feel safe I can kill target and reposition with Sprint, or stay a little further back and use his gun to gib a few infantry.
Have Koldun Lord Power Boost Devastator. If Pikemen are blocking Charge Lane for Devastator, have the Kovnik Shield March them or Charge, than have the Pikemen mini-feat, Charge, CMA to ensure more kills to take less free strikes on their 8" reform into Shield Wall to clear lanes or protect Strakhov. If Devastator's lane is free, Charge itin and Rain of Death to trigger Overrun to either protect Strakhov or move Spriggan to better charge lane.
Send in Bears, Greylords and Fenris in as necessary to clear lanes or cause carnage. Charge in Spriggan to key target (important solo, Warjack/Warbeast, Warcaster/Warlock).
Let me know what you think and suggestions.

First thing that jumps out is Kovnik can't shield march then charge. It's a star action isn't it?

I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own... |

Yea, it is a *Action. I really just out that in there, probably poorly worded, as if I feat and he has a clear lane just charge him in. If there is no clear lane than Shield March and reposition him to take advantage of the Pikemen reforming 8" instead of 6". Automatically Appended Next Post: Edited to fix the Kovnik, I guess I did put Shield March them and Charge. Haha, note to self, less beer when posting army lists.

Then my only real issue with it is how close Strakhov is going to want to be to the enemy to get the most out of his feat. That's my big problem with him, and why I've never been too excited about him. If he's in 12 then his army is usually also in charge range as well. Unless he's walking miles ahead of his army for some reason...

Yea, it has been tricky to learn him. The feat is good, but after that you are really dug in. I have been trying to really maximize on the feat, without over extending and leaving Strakhov vulnerable. It is hard because he is only so tough, and there are a lot of great ranged options and once knocked down he becomes a pretty easy target. Stealthing himself on the feat turn hasn't been bad, he just always seems starved for focus and I haven't really got the hang of his spell list and the trade offs I have to make on the feat turn.
He should be pretty fun once I really get the hang of him, been playing him at 35 with success. Wonder how be fares at 50.

Honestly Strakhov though I love him feels like a Caster you take in a fun casual game. I feel there's much better top tier choice Casters, again I could just be extra in love with the Butcher hahahaha.
