Just a few questions / requests for help!

1: Is there anywhere that will make custom transfers for miniatures / space marines?
2: I'm trying to get this kind of cloak effect: http://images5.fanpop.com/image/photos/27400000/Vincent-Valentine-vincent-valentine-27453147-637-900.jpg Any ideas how I would do this, or if there are currently any in circulation that would fit 40K size miniatures I could perhaps use. I've thought of using plasticard and heat to try and get a cloak thing, but im wondering what thickness im going to need and such if I were to create it myself, or if anyone has any better ideas? I'm really not great at green stuff.

If you were to try that with plasticard, you would want as thin as you can get. I think with heat you could do it, but would take my time with it.

You could also do a bit of green stuff with plasticard, or find some fabric that you could soak in some watered down pva glue, and have it harden into the shape you want.

Just some ideas, not sure if any would work.

I bought some transfer paper on amazon, 10 sheets for about $15. I was going to have some decals I found online printed on it at a staples, but the paper needs inkjet printers, and they use laser jet. So wasn't able to have it done yet, but I've heard that is the way to do it. I believe you can use a computer program to make your own, then print them out. I'm sure someone on here will know more about what programs work best.

For the first one, depends on exactly what you're looking for i.e. "make custom transfers". Are you wanting someone to produce the printable file for you? Someone to print a printable file? Someone to do the whole thing start to finish?

For the first question, it's a matter of finding someone willing to do the design work for you (some willing to do it for free; others for a fee). For example, I've created a number of decal files over the past year (see the Downloads section over on B&C), and usually do the design work for free (had a period where I charged model bits for private commissions, which netted some nice parts).

For printing services, see the Custom Decal Companies in this thread. It's divided by country, though the list is second hand, so no telling which of those companies are still in service, if any.

For one-stop-shopping for custom decals, check out Fallout Hobbies. They completed a Kickstarter earlier this year, and are nearing completion of their KS fulfillment.

And, as DarkKnight44 said, there's always the self-print route. You can find info on that in this thread. The two keys to remember are 1) get the right paper for your printer type (laser for laser, inkjet for inkjet) and 2) get the right style for the job (clear vs white paper).
