Has anyone tried the new Forgeworld Leviathan dreadnought? It sure looks cool and beefy, but it's over 300 points with the extras! 4++ is nice.
I was thinking just stick w a claw and siege drill and maybe the three missiles for some punch on the drop in the dread pod. I would use it with my Iron Hands though I dont think it has chapter tactics, does it?

I'd wait for better rules to come out. It's slightly overcosted now, but with a couple of changes it'd be pretty good.

Given its special rules, I'd agree with kitting it out for close combat. Whilst it's tough, it's not that tough, and sitting out in the midfield trying to firefight with proper tanks will end badly.

The phosphex launchers give it some nasty punch, too.

its basically an alternative to the ironclad for derpstriking, but to be upfront with you i dont see many people using it since its a cousin of the ironclad this makes it a cc unit in a shooting brb ruleset therefore worthless just like every other cc oriented unit in the game that cant also shoot at least semi competnently
