Havent seen the new rules yet, but only a single flyer for the formation doesnt sound TOO bad a tax. And it might be nice to actually use their fliers once and a while. Any clues what it grants?

Nothing. It's just a single plane that fills an auxiliary slot. No special rules (it's not even a formation, just a single unit as auxiliary. Can't be taken on its own outside contingent.)

so its basically worthless, since the planes themselves are never worth the points. gotcha.

Well, it's an easy unlock for the contingent, so not completely useless (though drone team even cheaper)

Farsight enclaves have a decent airplane formation,if it really what you want. Don't quite remember details, but it's decent.

It's also available in the Dawnblade contingent. It may in fact be the cheapest aux in that detachment too...

Hunter Contingent has the little drone unit for unlocking it. Assigned Air Caste is terribad - pretend it doesn't even exist.
