I have been working on a Khorne Bloodbound list. I have come to realize that without adding some Daemons to the army it really struggles in larger games. Most other armies have plenty of ranged/magical attacks that can really hurt your army before you even can start fighting them in combat. I wanted to add a Bloodthirster as a centerpiece to my army and was curious what you think the best Bloodthirster is in a Khorne Bloodbound list.

Where is the option one or more of each? More the better in age of heroes taking all godlike monsters is the key.

The one with the axe kills really good
The one wi the whip is a good disruptor
The one with the hammer and axe can take on good elites
Skarbrand is prettyest.

Choosing just one, I would say skarbrand hands down, he just boosts your army so much and ruins other monsters in combat. He is pure diesel, an apocalyptic train where his conductor is insane and his cargo is pain. The other bloodthirsters are good, dont get me wrong, but first and foremost I would take skarbrand, then add others as needed.

It seems that in every comp system they make these units all to expensive to be useful.

I had this dilemma when I picked up a Bloodthirster. At the end if the day, it is a Bloodthirster - it is going to be rock hard whatever version you go for!

Biggest issue I have found is skarbrands shorter movement and not flying. Also, he isn't all that great against units but really excels at hero killing (if someone was foolish enough to to put them on the front line.
