For those of you that got the new rebel kits and got some games in, whats working and not working? I Ordered them last Friday but they are not even processed yet :(

Ackbar. Rebels LOVE Ackbar.

As far as the MC30, there seems to be a slight split of opinion. Some people feel it's better to spend the extra points on an AFMKII, others feel that only the Scout variant is good, and others think that you either bring the Scout with Ackbar or any type with Reikan.

Rouges and Villains have not been out in enough numbers for anyone to give an opinion on them beyond speculation.

OK good, because I plan to fly a ton with Ackbar. Just as long as the rebels got some goodies in the expansion i'm happy.

I'm assuming that you'll want to run Ackbar with Home One as well (to cancel brace tokens)? Also: does it make more sense to run 2-3 MC80's with Ackbar, or several smaller ships (since you proc his ability more often)?

I'm considering Ackbar in Home one with 4-5 Slave Turreted CR-90A's

Since it's pretty much guaranteed that Ackbar is going to be spammed everywhere, being the contrary sort, I'm wanting to try something else. - Especially as I have 2 MC30's now.

So, an all Mon Calamari fleet, with no Ackbar in sight is going to my first attempt at a wave 2 based fleet.

It's another one where, the general framework might not be terrible but there's lots of specifics that needs to be changed - For example, I wanted to give the MC80 a fancy gun but couldn't work out what's most suited.

Ordnance Experts on Gladiators are pure Murder Inc.

Each General/Admiral has its moment to shine.

these two are only fully maximized in Capitol ship heavy fleets, Gram was boss until Ackbar became available.

lots of small capitol ships or healthy mix squadron and ships

Dodonna

Fast moving fleets with a lot of long range fire and evade capability Mothma and Dodonna was rockin it. Gram isn't that great in a fleet that only has one command dial in its stack.


Carrier Fleet (max Squadron leaning toward a lot of unique titles)
Rieekan

If Luke, Han, or anyone else bites it or they kill a unique titled ship they still get to attack this guy replaces Ackbar at the top in a unique title carrier fleet. with guys like Luke Han and Farlander in list it pays to use Rieekan.

AFMII...one might be Paragon
MC80....will always be the Defiance
MC30c

with 3-5 A-wings to intercept enemy squadrons
