So, I am in an escalation league at my LGW, my army should be around 1250 at this point, maybe 1500 because I missed a wekk (it's hard to keep track of these things)

My list is basically:

Tank commander in Eradicator
Executioner with gubbins
punisher with gubbins
LRBT
2x Veteran squads with some toys and chimera transports

which sat me at my 1k list.

My question here is, since the wife is only OKing one purchase this week (which actually she said through the end of january ) I'm looking at one of two things:

Either I pick up a Valkyrie kit and run a squadron of two Valkyries/Vendettas

OR

I pick up another Russ kit and run most likely another executioner or some such shenanigans?

Is she setting a limit on the number of items or the cost? If your looking for mroe points out of your one purchase then buy a storm sword

More reasonably I'd imagine she doesn't want you spending a ton of money in which case I'd suggest looking on ebay where you may find that you can acquire a battle force worth of models for the same price as that one new vendetta.

Yes, it's more cost... but part of the caveat is that with each week's increase in points, a certain amount of that must be purchased in store, so ebay is pretty much out.

No, else I wouldn't be able to play my guard pretty much at all

Obviously the point is to somewhat drive sales. Each week, when points totals bump up 250, 100 is supposed to have been bought in the store. I do get bonus points to buying and painting brand new stuff that I didn't have prior to escalation starting. This is the main reason I'm using my Vostroyans, because they're all bought through the shop
